American Cancer Society on Campus

Middle schools, high schools and colleges looking to support the mission of the American Cancer Society can officially become an ACS On Campus chapter. ACS On Campus chapters engage students and student bodies across the country at all levels and focuses on the four focus areas of the American Cancer Society which are Advocacy, Discovery, Patient Support and Fundraising.

Great American Smoke Out

Join the American Cancer Society on the third Thursday in November and host a Great American Smoke Out event on your campus to encourage others to quit smoking – reducing their cancer risk and taking an important step toward a healthier life.

Send Love Notes Around the World

Love Notes Around The World is a volunteer-led platform where individuals and groups have opportunities to create, share, and/or send messages of compassion to cancer patients in treatment, caretakers, care providers, and others in need.

Hope Lodge Wish List Drives

Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Chapters can do a Hope Lodge collection drive to send items to a local Hope Lodge.

Host An Event

Decide on an event that makes the most sense to your campus. From signature ACS events such as Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or DetermiNation or create your own event. Remember to keep the FUN in fundraising and make it an event that your campus will get excited about.

Youth Sports

There are plenty of opportunities for sports teams to get engaged in the fight against cancer. From football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, hockey, volleyball, and other sports, there is a way for any team to become involved.

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action network (ACS CAN) is always looking for volunteers like YOU to help lead our efforts. You don’t need any experience to become an Ambassador. ACS CAN Junior Fighter

Our ACS CAN Junior Cancer Fighter activity center provides middle school-age children and their parents (and grandparents) with a series of fun and educational activities to help them learn about advocacy and fighting cancer.
